Abundant Life, alcf.net, is an online community of varying denominational Christians who come together as a church in Mountain View, California. As a non-denominational entity, the church uses its web presence as a source of information and outreach to the community. The leaders of the church have taken great effort to put together a website that can explain all of the core values of the group as well as the unifying factors that bring them together each week in worship. Links to the statement of faith, and exploring membership are prominently displayed. The site also features an interactive Google map with directions to the worship center, and a map of the ALCF parking lot. For new members of the community there is an entire page that welcomes them to the area and explains the weekly service and small group gatherings.
For people wanting more, alcf.net provides details of various classes offered through the adult education ministry. For people who are unavailable to attend the church in person, or would like to see the Sunday sermon again, Pastor Hurmon Hamilton posts past weeks sermons online with links to an entire archive of previous sermons. A portion of the website is devoted to community outreach programs and making those things readily available. Visitors who are in need of prayer services or visitation are offered either a phone number to call or an email address to send their requests to. Special emphasis is placed on the Prayer and Visitation Ministry and its open arms policy to all in need.
