What if not well designed and useful would you expect from Canada’s national airline? Visit Aircanada.ca in English or French to discover the worldwide itinerary of flights, make your ticket purchase and find out about simple and smart ways to travel more comfortably while shopping smarter, as not only do they have weekly specials, but they also feature daily last-minute deals (they should add RSS subscription features to these pages, though).
Online self-check in services are available through the site, and registered members can access their account to manage their reward programs, request upgrades, or ask for a special meal to be served to them. I was expecting the site to carry cargo facilities like other airlines do, and which allow customers to pre-check in freight or packages and print tags at home, but no such utilities are available from the site. The flight tacking tools are not altogether too efficient if compared to what other airlines offer: you can take a look at a status chart (with three possible values: on time, delayed, cancelled), but not get data on approximate delay times, which I reckon is always useful for people who have to leave the office or drive a long way to pick someone up at the airport and probably won’t appreciate a several-hour wait they could have avoided by checking the website.
