With a simple to use online booking reservation system, Accommodation.ie offers a quick way to book hotels, bed and breakfast rooms, and self catering in Ireland. Reservations made on the Accommodation site are immediately confirmed over their secure server. All of the properties advertised on the Accommodation.ie site are approved by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board or the Failte Ireland, (The Irish Tourist Board). The prices listed on the Accommodation site are those set by the property owners. The Accommodation.ie site does not mark-up the prices of the Accommodations in Ireland listed on the site and their booking fees are minimal, (currently, 7 euros for Self-Catering accommodations and 5 euros for serviced accommodations).
Visitors to Accommodation.ie can search for rooms based upon location, property type, the number of people in their party, and their arrival date. Property types include hotels, guesthouses, bed and breakfast locations, hostels, and even apartments and houses. Locations are available throughout Ireland and are searchable by county. Users simply click on the map provided on the main page in order to see all properties with accommodations currently available for that location.
A booking deposit is required for reservations made through Accommodation.ie in order to reserve the room. The amount of the deposit counts toward the cost of the room. For example, if a room is 200 euros and a customer pays a booking deposit of 20 euros, then they will only pay 180 euros upon arriving at the premises. For self catering properties, the full amount for the room is due at the time of booking, with no payment due upon arrival to the location.
