ACAS.org – Asian Community AIDS Services

ACAS.orgACAS.org provides HIV/AIDS support services, education, and prevention to Canadian communities of Southeast and East Asians. ACAS.org provides programs which are based upon a holistic, pro-active approach to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. Their services are provided in an empowering, non-discriminatory, collaborative way.

The ACAS.org website provides information on the various programs offered by ACAS, including youth, men’s, and women’s outreach and educational programs. They have a support program as well as an Asian Migrant Farm Worker?s Health Promotion Project.

The News and Events section of ACAS.org includes information on current job openings, fundraisers, and events as well as HIV/AIDS, and LGBT news stories. Site visitors are encouraged to get involved by becoming a volunteer with ACAS. The work of volunteers typically involves social services, education and youth development, health and wellness, and human rights advocacy. Information about HIV/AIDS treatment is available on ACAS.org in multiple East and Southeast Asian Languages including Vietnamese, Chinese, and Tagalog. Treatment info is also available in English and covers drug information, health concerns, and monitoring tests for HIV/AIDS. Additional treatment resources available from ACAS.org include nutritional information, women?s health concerns and info, as well as information on common complementary therapies.
