VideoMap is a well elaborated video-sharing community based on Google Maps.
VideoMap provides interesting and new features and targets a broad audience. Videos can be browsed and viewed directly on the map.
One part of the videos comes from registered users, who can upload and place videos at their original recording location.
The other part is integrated from other websites. Therefore we have developed an algorithm,
that automatically finds geo-tagged videos, based on geo data, like street names in the title, description,
tags and other video meta data in big video sharing communities like YouTube, Google or Yahoo and integrates them into VideoMap.
Users can select a location on the map as their homebase. Other users can view their profile directly on the map.
This is especially interesting if you are looking for new contacts in your neighborhood or if you want to explore interesting places and countries.
