Savcvb.com is the site of Savannah, which is know as America’s first planned city.
During the American Revolution, the British took Savannah, and at land-sea force of French and Americans tried to retake the city, but failed. Yet, after independence was secured, Savannah flourished, and farmers discovered that soil was rich and the climate favorable for cultivation of cotton and rice. With wealth brought by cotton, there was also misfortune, with two devastating fires leaving half of Savannah in ashes, and yellow fever that killed the tenth of its population. As you can see, Savannah is a historical city, where you can gain more than the knowledge given here; you will be able to find much more and see even more within this site, with a Visitors section, where you will find accommodations, attractions, shopping, dining, arts and culture, nightlife, getting around town, Savannah secrets, day trips, and much more.
