The Golden Raspberry Awards (better known as “Razzies”) were created in 1980, and the first time they were awarded was in the year 1981. Razzies are the counterpart of the prestigious Academy Awards, and they have the aim of dishonoring the worst available films that premier every year.
The awards are voted by the Golden Raspberry membership. Membership has the particularity of being openly available to the public. This means that you can become a member and your vote will count when it comes to the Awards themselves.
