The Los Angeles Mission College provides an excellent education to those students who live in the San Fernando Valley area. Located in Sylmar, the college has been involved with the communities of San Fernando, Pacoima, Mission Hills, North Hills, Panorama City and Granada Hills for the last 30 years, and provides a very reasonably-priced education for students in those areas.
The goals of the Los Angeles Mission College are to help students develop critical thinking and life-long learning skills, to ensure that they obtain suitable employment, as well as enriching their lives through ongoing community education. The Mission also provides services and programs to improve the quality of life in the communities it serves. The site contains all the information on the college programs offered, educational TV, online classes and vocational training. Class schedules are available, and you can register for classes online as well. There’s a section that deals with academic matters, such as faculty services and course status, important dates, among others. The Community section provides news and information including such things as the campus calendar, maps and news releases. You can also access the library catalog and bookstore, sign up for workshops, and view research paper guides.
