Car Body Design was founded in 2004 and started as an online resource with links to automotive design and engineering technical publications. It then, extended by providing links to design tutorials and publishing selected daily news from the automotive and design world, including original projects created by emerging designers.
Today it is an online resource with more than one million pages visited every month. At the news category you will find some subcategories that contain news and information on design, events, competitions, auto shows, cars, concept cars, production cars, tuning, and special cars. You can also access to some other categories such as 2D tutorials, 3D tutorials, videos, publications, and features. At the 2D tutorials category you can search by category or by software. At the feature category you will find information about new designers, articles, car design software, and miscellaneous. You will also find publications on car designs, automotive engineering, materials, manufacturing processes, and more.
