I thought I was a great interviewer. After all, I’d gotten every job I’d ever applied for. Then, after a friend arranged a special interview for me for a job that I thought I really wanted, I bombed. Big time.

I was caught off guard by questions that I hadn’t had time to prepare for. I was introduced to terminology that I could have easily learned in advance and saved myself from looking like a fool. I learned the hard way – interviewing is tough. The more you want a position, the harder it becomes.

Boldvue, naturally, has a bold view for better tackling the job interview.

First, they’re building a crowdsourced library of interview questions and video answers. So, you’ll never have to walk into a room uncertain of what you might be asked again. You can find the questions asked at interviews in your field, and see how people answer. This not only gives you answers, but a chance to learn from other interviews and perfect your tactics for impressing interviewers.

The library alone makes Boldvue an incredible resource – you can dig around YouTube or industry-specific sites and maaaybe find examples and information you’re looking for, but having one repository to turn to is a far more convenient option. Boldvue has more to offer…

You can also rehearse for your interview and get feedback from others. Find out what you’re doing right and wrong – and get over any shyness you might have. You might be well trained for a job, but what a terrible thing to lose out on a position you’re qualified for because you’re untrained for interviewing!

Boldvue also allows users to build a portfolio of video interview answers. After you’ve nailed your answers, why wait to score an interview? Put yourself out there so that recruiters can find you and learn about you in advance. Both ends can save themselves loads of time through this feature, by recruiters gaining a better sense if a candidate would be a good fit before diving into the more involved interview process.

Now go land that dream position!
